General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

§ 1 Scope of Application: These GTC apply to all contracts with DFR Foundation gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G. concerning training, eLearning, or events. All official communications regarding these contracts are issued by DFR Foundation.

§ 2 Registration: Registration via the DFR Foundation website or email constitutes a binding contract once confirmed. We reserve the right to withdraw if minimum participation is not met.

§ 3 Participation Fees: Fees are listed on our website. VAT is not included in eLearning fees. Payments for on-site/live courses are due within seven days of the invoice.

§ 4 Course Delivery: DFR Foundation reserves the right to change course structure or location. We are not liable for equipment or internet issues on the participant's side for online sessions.

§ 5 Cancellation: Participants may cancel up to four weeks (on-site) or two weeks (online) before the start for a full refund. Send notice to: Digital freedom and rights gUG, Friedrich konig weg 5, 90513 Zirndorf, or Jazzi@digitalfreedomandrights.com.

§ 6–8 Conduct & Rights: Participants must follow venue rules and netiquette. DFR Foundation is liable only for intent or gross negligence. All materials are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without written consent.

§ 9–10 Dispute Resolution & Final Provisions: The EU ODR platform is at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. DFR Foundation does not participate in consumer arbitration. The place of jurisdiction is Nuremberg, Germany.

Privacy Policy

DFR Foundation prioritizes your data security. Processing is based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contracts) or Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).

Data Controller: The entity listed in the Impressum.

Personal Data: We collect contact details to process requests and provide services. This data is stored in our database, never shared with unauthorized third parties, and retained only as long as necessary. Financial data is used only for transactions and is not stored in our systems.

Usage Data & Security: Our servers process temporary data (IP addresses, browser info) for content delivery and security. IP addresses are stored for four weeks to resolve potential attacks. We use TLS encryption for all website and email communication.
